Bestinbrands has been supporting 15 kids since 2022 from the Youth Development Program. The program is aimed to improve infant and young child education by reallocating skills and resources to foster self-reliance and growth in every young citizen. The main goal is to increase the meaningful participation of youth within their communities, schools, and organizations, and enhance their skills.
Our company joined two programs in 2015: the Food and Agriculture Approach to Reduce Malnutrition Program (FAARM) and the Enhanced Homestead Food Production Program (EHFP) to reduce malnutrition among Bangladeshi women in households. The program aims to establish whether a gender transformative enhanced homestead food production model can improve household food diet, nutrition, and reproductive health outcomes to delay child marriage among Bangladeshi girls.
